During biogas recovery in renewable energy plants, digestate is generated and its storage and distribution are very costly. Today, only a limited amount of this expenditure is offset by recycling the fertiliser.
But digestate can do a lot more:
The narema system reduces the digestate by more than 50% so that it turns into a virtually odourless, humus-forming solid that can be used to fertilise the soil depending in line with the vegetative phases.

- The humus-forming solid fertilises the soil and leads to flourishing plant growth.
Furthermore, economically useful, storable fertiliser in the form of ammonium sulphate and calcium carbonate is also generated.
On the next page, we've put together the financial benefits that operating a renewable energy plant offers and shown how the narema system counteracts increasing costs.
In terms of the environment, we would be delighted to highlight the green objectives that narema GmbH pursues.
